An Award Winning Sustainable New Build

Construction of a new-build sustainable information centre on the Stanpit Marsh nature reserve. This new building construction won the Building Excellence Regional Award. The information centre uses renewable energy systems such as solar panels, wind turbines and rainwater harvesting systems to provide clean and energy-independent facilities. The centre is constructed on piled concrete foundation supporting steel ring beams. The building above is timber-framed and finished in a Larch.
